Delaware Family Childcare Alliance

The Delaware Family Childcare Alliance (DFCCA) is a group of family childcare providers who have come together to work on issues that affect the quality of life of providers. The Alliance's goal is to influence childcare policy in Delaware and bring the voice of family childcare providers to legislators, so that providers can have the resources they need to give the best care possible to the children and families they serve.

The Alliance offers a comprehensive training package to build the capacity of home-based child care providers in Delaware. Workshops include taxes, record keeping, budgeting, cash flow management, credit history, and technology. Workshops are accredited by the State Office of Child Care Licensing. Providers also have access to refurbished computers through TechnoSave. NGCDC also provides organizing support to the Alliance to advance advocacy efforts on issues important to providers.
